September/October 2012 Updates!

Broken Window Effect Update
We went into the Sick Room on 9th September to record two tracks for our upcoming 7" split with the mighty Zapiain from Leeds. First of all, I've got to say what an incredible studio. The guys from the band Magoo have done a fantastic job in building it up from scratch over the past decade, check them out at www.thesickroom.co.uk. It was also the first time using a Drum Port in a studio and it seriously sounded amazing, the final mixes have been done, we are just waiting for the mastering and then it'll be off to the pressing plant. We are all super excited to have it coming out on the ace label Disillusioned Records.

Bad Ideas Update
After such a succesful UK tour, we are hitting up Europe in November, we have shows booked in France, Germany, Switzerland, Holland and Italy, full details can be found on our facebook page. We will also been sporting tasches in aid of Movember, it's an incredibly worthy cause and anyone who wants to donate can do so at  http://uk.movember.com/team/477681
We have just been finishing up demoing songs ready for the new album which will be recorded January 2013, details out very soon.

Teaching
Lessons have been coming in thick and fast and I have a lot of students currently working on the new Rockschool sylabus who will be taking exams next month, good luck to them all!

London Drum Show
Made the trip to the Olympia in Kensington for this years LDS. Another amazing show, great to see lots of amazing equipment, spent far too much money and met Derrik Roddy (lovely dude) The highlight by far had to be Aaron Spears' masterclass, probably the best and nicest drummer I've ever seen?!
